Resource Acquisition and Donor Development Specialist/Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Donor Acquisition:

  1. Support, coordinate, and perform assigned tasks related to the implementation of a donor acquisition strategy
  2. Respond to external and internal queries
  3. Communicate with partners or other offices as necessary
  4. Assist or participate in the planning of donor fundraising strategies by identifying communications needs based on relevant research
  5. Coordinate the production of communication materials in various media in accordance with unit’s approved strategic donor acquisition plan
  6. Assist with scheduling and dissemination of print and electronic communications and placement of advertisement
  7. Prepare and submit various reports and schedules
  8. Maintain relationships with partners or other companies as necessary

Donor Development:

  1. Contribute concepts, ideas or key factors during the planning that would help maintain and develop Donor Care and Nurture Programs
  2. Assist in the implementation of Donor Care and Nurture Programs
  3. Negotiate through purchasing costs of suppliers based on what is provided in the budget
  4. Receive delivered collaterals and do the inventory or properly record the distribution
  5. Coordinate staff to ensure the phases in the campaign occurs on time
  6. Oversee work by contractors and report on variations to work orders
  7. Collect and analyze data on campaigns undertaken, and report on campaign outcomes

Job Qualifications

  1. Female
  2. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Mass Communication/Communication Arts/Multi-media Arts/Business
  3. Experience in project management and implementation for at least one (1) year
  4. With organizational skills in planning and implementing stage of the project until completion
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Proficient computer skills using MS Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  7. Data encoding and computer navigational skills
  8. Detail-oriented and high accuracy in work output
  9. Good organizational, problem solving and time management skills
  10. With database management background an advantage
  11. Must be trustworthy to maintain confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements of the ministry
  12. Highly motivated and independent individual
  13. Can work with minimum supervision
