Students are still Reeling from the Pandemic, Here’s How You Can Help

Do you wish to help students who are challenged by distance learning, but not sure how?

Here at Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, every peso you give goes a long way! Igoes to the young students whose education is directly affected by the crisis.

One year into the pandemic, many of them still don’t have laptops, tablets, or other gadgets needed for online learning. Some of them had to stop schooling at all, while others continue to live in uncertainty.

This was the dilemma of Jessa Domingo before she became a Back-to-School scholar and One Student, One Gadget campaign beneficiary.

These programs of Operation Blessing aim to provide educational assistance to underprivileged yet deserving students like her so they can continue their education even during this very challenging time.

As online learning continues to be a strong challenge, Jessa and other students who belong to low-income families were left reelingwondering how they can cope with the new normal way of learning.

That is why it is a huge relief for her and other Back to School scholars when Operation Blessing visited their homes, churches, and communities, and offered a surprising gift – a gadget that they can use for their learning!

“Operation Blessing has helped me and my family a lot. I greatly depend on them. Without their scholarship grant, I am probably struggling to work part-time just to finance my studies because it is my dream to finish college. I am very thankful to all donors. I will not waste the opportunity they have given me,” Jessa shared.

Aside from Back-to-School scholars, the selfless love of our partners has also reached schools, teachers, and tribal communities across the country!

Some of the recent beneficiaries are schools in Mindoro and in Montalban, Rizal. Last weekend, the team gave printer and reams of bond paper to Faith in Christ Alone church in Montalban for Bless-a-Child beneficiaries in their community.

Operation Blessing is still eyeing to provide supplemental learning resources to more students and schools. With your help, we can make it happen!
