Help Taal Volcano victims through Operation Blessing – Here’s how

Taal OB DR 001

Amidst the ashfall and light rain, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines (OB), went to Batangas this afternoon to reach out to our kababayans severely affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.

Starting last January 12 with the volcano spewing ash, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) rapidly raised the volcano’s alert level from 2 to 4 causing thousands of families from Talisay, Tanauan, Sto. Tomas, and other affected areas to evacuate for safety.

OB’s #OneStepAhead disaster response team gave out N95 face masks and food packs as they visited the towns affected. Though displaced to safer grounds, the residents around the area are still facing different life-threatening situations and diseases.
