Dealing with Issues Concerning your Father | Widmark Santos Story

For Widmark, hearing the word ‘father’ brings up images of pain. He could not understand why he chose to abandon him.

This pain made him seek love and attention from friends who influenced him to have vices, which included drug abuse.

How did God meet him in his need for love and affirmation?

As Widmark learned about God’s love for him as a father, he also learned to forgive him. Ho now desires to be that father that he never had to his children.

The Bible is clear about how fathers should treat their children. Ephesians 6:4 says, “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
