Cinetizens - Your Clingy Movie Review Barakda OnlineMAKATI CITY – CBN Asia announces the upcoming launching of its online movie review talk show titled “Cinetizens,” which aims to give witty quality movie reviews catering to the younger audience. The show is expected to start its online streaming on September 16, 2016 through its YouTube Channel that will be confirmed soon.

“It is your newest awesome barkada online,” stresses Paolo Fuentes, the Producer of the show. “Expect good quality reviews from different age groups,” adds one of the hosts, Clydee Tamayo. “Cinetizens come from the combined words Cine and Citizens which pertains to people who loves watching cinemas,” Paolo explains further.

Cinetizens is a 3-minuter YouTube video showcasing a friendly Barkada that gives off a fruitful movie review discussion. Presenting one movie per episode, Cinetizens will cover all genres of films both local and international.

According to Paolo, the behavior of today’s youth is what inspired him to create the show, “Yung mga kabataan ngayon mahilig silang manood ng movie ‘tas after ‘non, paglabas nila ng movie house, ‘anong gagawin namin?’,” he explains (Teenagers today loves to watch movies but then after doing so it seems like, ‘Hey, what are we going to do next?’). He wanted to break this habit of indifference by giving them something to look forward to even after watching a movie.

Hosted by sevenCinetizens - Your Clingy Movie Review Barakda Online (7) witty movie lovers themselves, Benj Prada, Clydee Tamayo, Ivy Catucod, Jewel Valeroso, Neil Barnes, Sir Rolando Alto IV, and former Sineskwela host, Icko Gonzalez, Cinetizens will be the online tambayan of those who love talking about the movies that they have just viewed.

“We want them to know that we can learn from movies,” Paolo says. “Hindi lang siya for entertainment,” he adds. (It is not just for entertainment.)

Moreover, Cinetizens also intends to take the movie goers into a deeper way of understanding movies as they talk about the values embedded in the movie more than its other aspects.

“That’s our edge compared to other movie reviews. Aside from the technical aspects, we want them to learn more on its values,” Paolo explains. “Let’s talk about movies in a deeper level,” he invites.

Cinetizens will be the first online movie review show by CBN Asia, which currently has TSCA Reacts and Ask TSCA online, and also Super Book and The 700 Club Asia airing through the broadcast media.

The target Cinetizens launching date is September 16, 2016. More details about the YouTube Channel URL will be revealed through CBN Asia website and CBN Asia Facebook Page.
