This week at CBN Asia – October 27, 2014

This week at CBN Asia, we are looking at how our humanitarian arm, Operation Blessing, is bringing free medical services to those who do not have ready access to it.

When Typhoon Yolanda hit Leyte in early November last year, it destroyed most of the hospitals and medical clinics in the area. While some facilities have been rebuilt, some areas still do not have easy access to medical services.

Kaya naman pumunta ang Operation Blessing sa limang barangay sa Leyte para tugonan ang kanilang pangangailangang medikal.

More than four thousand people from the five barangays and the neighboring 11 more barangays benefited from the medical mission. They received free medical check-ups, wound dressing, minor surgical procedures, and prescribed medicines and vitamins.

We wouldn’t have been able to do all these without your help. Your sacrificial giving enables Operation Blessing to go to these underprivileged communities and bring much needed services. And so in behalf of the people of Leyte, maraming, maraming salamat po. God bless you!
