Young Pros Gave Up Careers To Bring Gospel to T’Boli Tribes

This week at CBN Asia – October 20, 2014

This week at CBN Asia, we are looking at an extraordinary group of young professionals who have given up lucrative careers to bring the gospel to those who do not have access to it.

Licensed physical therapist si Joy habang nurse at community developer naman si Tonton. They are just two of eleven young professionals who gave up their careers to be trained as missionaries.

As part of the program of our missionary training arm, the Asian Center for Missions, Joy, Tonton and ten others went to the T’boli tribes in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato for a local exposure trip. To learn more about the tribe’s culture, the trainees lived with the T’bolis for almost two weeks. Natulog sila sa bamboo houses, gumamit ng makeshift comfort rooms at kumuha ng tubig sa ka-ka-ibang paraan.

While there, they taught the children about God through age-appropriate activities and conducted seminars on how to maintain good hygiene.

You are helping prepare these remarkable young professionals for their long-term assignments as missionaries in countries that do not have ready access to the gospel. Thank you for helping send these missionaries through your faithful giving. God bless you!
