This week at CBN Asia – September 29, 2014

This week at CBN Asia, we are looking at how our humanitarian arm, Operation Blessing, came to the aid of those affected by the recent typhoon.

The day after Typhoon Mario hit the Philippines, Operation Blessing immediately went into action. Staff and volunteers packed relief goods and cooked food to be distributed in typhoon-ravaged areas.

Our medical staff and volunteers attended to the health of the evacuees, giving free medical check-ups as well as free medicines. We also had age-appropriate activities for children to help lessen the trauma of being displaced by the storm.

But all these aren’t just our work, but yours as well. You, our faithful donors, and our tireless volunteers enable us to quickly engage in disaster response efforts such as these. It is your unfailing support that enables us to extend a helping hand in crisis situations.

God bless you!
