The following terms and conditions shall govern your use of
CBN Asia, Inc.'s online donation system for its various ministries.
DONATION – CBN Asia, Inc. ("CBN Asia") accepts online
donations through credit card payments from interested individuals,
organizations and associations, as well as its existing partners.
Donations may be made via this site, www.cbnasia.org (the "Website"), using the
secure payment gateway.
You have the following online donation options using your
credit card:
(i) MEMBER: If you would like to become an
active member, you shall commit to donate monthly, and your credit card shall
be automatically charged every month for the amount you choose/specify at the
onset of your membership and for the entire duration of the same.
(ii) DONOR: If you would like to make a one-time
donation, the amount you choose/specify shall be charged to your credit card accordingly.
You shall be required to
provide all the necessary information to process the transaction.
CONFIRMATION – After the donation
process is completed, a confirmation of the transaction will be sent to your e-mail
address as registered in CBN Asia's login account.
REFUND – Once a donation is
completed, the transaction is deemed final and undisputable, except under the
following circumstances:
(i) Unauthorized
or fraudulent use of your credit card is proven, per guidelines of your credit
card company. In case of lost or stolen credit card, you must notify your credit
card company and comply with its reporting procedure.
(ii) The Website or
its online donation system inadvertently does/causes something that will
necessitate a refund. In such an event,
you must notify the Partner Services Group of CBN Asia by requesting for a
refund within five (5) working days from the time you received an e-mail
confirming the donation. You may
contact CBN Asia's Partner Services Group by e-mail (creditcard_inquiry@cbnasia.org)
or by telephone (632-812-4747) during weekday business hours (from 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m.).
CBN Asia shall process your
request for refund with the credit card company or bank within fifteen (15)
working days.
SECURITY POLICY – CBN Asia's
online donation system uses an advanced encryption technology provided by
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a recognized authentication and encryption
software, which means that the site encrypts all of your personal information
and card details so that it is unreadable to anyone outside of the transaction
process.
The card details provided are stored by our payment provider,
Pesopay Payment Service, for the purpose of processing your donation. Information
on individual donations shall not be made available to any other party without
your consent. The contact details
given shall only be used to contact you for the purpose of discussing, confirming
or checking your donation details.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – CBN
Asia reserves the right to modify or replace any of these terms and conditions
at any time, and any change shall be effective once posted on the Website.
INDEMNITY – Under no
circumstance shall CBN Asia be liable for any claims, costs or damages, whether
direct or consequential, arising as a result of your use of the online donation
system or your inability to do so, your reliance on any content and/or services
associated with the Website, or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
GOVERNING LAW – Disputes
relating to the use of the Website's online donation system and the
interpretation of these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the Republic
of the Philippines, and any dispute shall be brought before the courts of
Makati City.
