The Harvest is Ripe

Second of three parts

One of the highlights of our trip is the harvest of souls at a diffrent sitio. We were supposed to go swimming in a nearby river when, suddenly, there was a change of plans. The datu of the sitio gave an invitation to us, missionary visitors from Manila, and opened the door for us to share the Gospel to families.

Because the harvest is ripe, we found it easy to evangelize, and the people were so responsive to the Gospel. All of us worked together: Pastor Romy shared to the men, Jo and I were assigned to the women, while Ate Mary, Tina and Jasmin to the children, and the rest interceded as we evangelized. Almost all of them received Jesus Christ in their lives. What a joy we experienced as we knew that thousands of angels rejoiced with us! By God's grace, we were the first missionary group who entered their community.
