Pastors, Declare the Whole Truth of God to His People | CBN Asia Prayer Center

Pastors declare the Truth of God Pastors as shepherds are to lead the people of God.

It is expected of them to teach the whole counsel of God. These includes the justification by faith, forgiveness of sins, baptism of the Holy Spirit, miracles, and walking in His power.

Pastors are to instruct them about the church, its history, and its doctrine. They are to edify them about godliness and holy living, about the Second Coming.

One thing men of God must not fail is to declare His tithe to them.

It is important that pastors teach how God takes this matter seriously. Back in the Old Testament times, the prophet Malachi spoke of the thoughts of God regarding such dealings, Malachi 3: 7 – 10 (NIV) says:

Ever since the time of your ancestors you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,”says the Lord Almighty.

“But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’

“Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.

“But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’

“In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

Pastors declare the Truth of God to His peopleMalachi shows God’s chosen people how far they have departed from God. Tithes and offerings were due to the Lord, and in withholding them they were robbing God.

Even now, it is still possible to ‘rob God.’ He is being cheated when His people keep anything as their own and use it in their own will and purpose. He is being deceived when His people does not give His due.

Moreover, defrauding God brings people under a curse and stay in it until they recognize that they have sinned against God.

On the other hand, God graciously calls His people with His words.

Honor Him with your possessions, with the first fruits of your labors. Trust that God has blessings ready for you. It has been proven time and again, “He who makes trial will find nothing is lost by honoring the Lord with his substance.”

Pastors, declare the whole truth of God to His people. Declare His tithe.
