CBN Asia recently inaugurated another regional prayer center office last May 21 at Lower Bacayan in Talamban, Cebu City. The said center is the third regional office of the CBN Asia Prayer Center in the country after the establishment of General Santos City and Davao City offices. The Cebu office became operational this mid-July.
The opening of the regional center is another milestone for the CBN Asia Prayer Center. It has always been in the heart of the Prayer Center to be available to more people who needs prayers and a listening ear. This was a strategic move for the Prayer center especially since the Cebuanos make up a major part of the country’s population.
As Ms. Malou Ibañez, Vice President for Administration of CBN Asia, Inc. stated, “For me, it is God’s way of telling us that He loves us that much, to the point that He will allow the set-up of these regional centers. The Lord is just showing us that He wants to reach the people in a way that they will be more comfortable, in a way that they could easily connect. Our God is a culture sensitive God.”
At the time of the inauguration, fifteen volunteers have already participated in the first wave of trainings for the center’s future counselors. Another batch of trainees have since been trained and secure phone have already been put in place making the Cebu City branch up and running.
The Center’s office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Those needing prayers may use the following contact info:
