Faith is All It Takes
What will it take for a miracle to happen? For one housewife, the answer lies on the day she came face to face with an unanticipated event in her life.
Her Painful Days

Weng (right) and her daughter Darcie
Weng Roxas of Muntinlupa City vividly remembers every detail of what she calls her toughest trial. What seemed to be a normal day in February turned out to be a life-changing date, one she’ll never forget for the rest of her life.
“I experienced an abnormal menstrual flow. It started as an excruciating pain in my lower abdomen, and then I began bleeding profusely for two weeks straight. I was literally urinating blood!” said Weng.
“I was horrified! It never happened to me before, and I became deeply troubled. At the same time, I felt it was sapping the strength out of my body, so I knew I was losing a lot of blood.”
In the midst of her illness, Weng kept her faith intact, trusting that God is in full control of her situation.
She said, “I was in a very uncomfortable situation, yet I didn’t have enough money to consult a doctor. So I had to make use of my faith.”
Instant Miracle
On the fifteenth night of her bleeding, Weng turned to her television to distract herself from the pain.
“The TV was tuned in to The 700 Club Asia, and I heard Felichi, one of the hosts, fervently praying for healing. Her prayer was so earnest that it moved me to tears.”
Then suddenly, something peculiar happened. “I heard Felichi mention a woman who’s experiencing bleeding—and that God is already healing her illness. I knew it was me, so I claimed my miracle right away!” shared an excited Weng.
After the prayer, without a single trace of doubt, Weng hurried to the comfort room to check if she’s been healed. True enough, she witnessed her first miracle.
“It was amazing! The bleeding stopped and the pain was completely gone! I was speechless,” she retold. “When I came back to my senses, I quickly ran to my daughter and happily told her about the miracle.”
She added, “I proved that faith is all it takes to open God’s mighty hands and bring forth His powerful healing touch. The Lord used The 700 Club Asia to deliver me from my sickness, and for that I am truly grateful. No sickness is greater than the God in whom I fully trust. I give all the praise back to God!” | by Deb Bataller, CBN Asia
