Ministering to Ministers Strengthens Marriages More than 200 pastors and their spouses from Metro Manila and neighboring provinces were empowered during CBN Asia’s Ministering to Ministers (M2M) event held last April 10 at the Century Park Hotel in Manila.
Resource speaker Steve Gutzler gave encouragement to the attendees and imparted wisdom on bringing emotional wholeness and happiness in their marriage.
Gutzler is the founder and president of Leadership Quest and has trained and coached leaders of many Fortune 500 corporations. Joining him during the M2M was Cyndi Romine, International Field Director of Compassion2One, whose mission is to reach out to abused children and women at risk.
Since 2008, Ministering to Ministers has been catering to the need of couples in ministry to be encouraged not just in their calling but also in their marriage and family life.
First time attendees Pastor Camilo Gilo and wife Grace shared: “This event is very important to us as workers of God and as a married couple because it will greatly help us in strengthening our relationship. We learned a lot from this event and it deepened our bond as husband and wife.”
“The message is very striking and I felt it was for me. I believe emotions are one of my struggles as a pastor, and even in my own family. I really thank God for this event. I am so happy and thankful to CBN Asia,” said Pastor Michael Andaya of People’s Baptist Church in Caloocan. |
